Volunteer Services

Community Engagement. Program Enhancement.

Thank you for your interest in contributing your time and talent to support Volunteers of America Oregon's mission and the people we serve. Every year, 1,000 community members like you put their passion to work through 40,000 hours of enhancing relationships with children and youth, enriching activities for elders, encouraging people rebuilding their lives after addiction and incarceration, and supporting our general operations.

With so many programs, projects, and positions to choose from, we're confident that we can find a meaningful way for you to get involved in the social cause you care about most. And with our centralized placement services, you will have someone supporting you every step of the way.

View our Impact Report (below) for more information about how volunteer engagement is helping us achieve our mission, and our One-Time Project and On-Going Position pages to learn more about the impact of our individual and group volunteers.

Double Your Impact! Did you know that on average, one in 10 companies match employee contributions of volunteer time? If you volunteer with us, your employer may provide us with a grant as a way to recognize your ongoing support. We encourage you to check with your employer and take advantage of this opportunity to double your impact!

Why volunteer with us? See for yourself!
