Mark L. Williams brings over fifteen years of financial expertise to his role on the Volunteers of America Oregon board. Since October 2023, Mark has served as VP Relationship Manager/Private Banking for Washington Trust, where he leverages his extensive experience in relationship building and financial management. Prior to joining Washington Trust, Mark dedicated 13 years as a Relationship Manager at First Republic Bank, following his tenure as VP Business Banker at JP Morgan Chase for two years. His professional credentials include an Oregon Life and Health Insurance License.

Mark's educational background reflects his diverse interests and talents. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Iowa and furthered his education at the New England Culinary Institute, demonstrating both his business acumen and creative pursuits.

Community engagement has been a cornerstone of Mark's professional life. He currently contributes his financial expertise as a board member for the Oregon Symphony, serving on both the finance and gala committees. His leadership extends to Le Monde French Immersion Public Charter School, where he holds the position of board member and treasurer. Mark also serves as an advisory committee member for the MIKE Program. His past board service demonstrates his commitment to arts and social causes, having previously served Portland Playhouse as both board member and treasurer, as well as contributing to Prevent Child Abuse Oregon and the Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble (PETE).

At home, Mark enjoys family life with his spouse, a Marketing Consultant for Tektronix who formerly served as Senior Marketing Manager for the same company. Together they raise three children and care for their rescue dog. When not focused on professional and community responsibilities, Mark embraces an active lifestyle, enjoying family travel, competitive road bike racing, and exploring trails as a gravel bike enthusiast.
