Court & Legal Advocacy
Legal Services advocates can answer questions from survivors and community partners around completing restraining order paperwork, options for filing petitions and appearing at court hearings, restraining order violations and enforcement, and service of restraining orders. Advocates can also assist with safety planning and provide information and emotional support. Advocates are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice. Interpreters for these services, both in person and remotely through the hotline, are available upon request.
Restraining Order Hotline
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Calls are sent directly to voicemail and should be returned by an advocate within 24-48 hours.
