One-Time Projects

We host nearly 60 one-time projects each year to broaden your perspective and benefit our programs for children, seniors, and people in recovery. We specialize in creating fun, direct-service experiences for small corporate groups that help you meet your goals, build team spirit, and leave a lasting impression on our community.

These projects receive rave reviews from volunteers for being fun and organized, from staff for introducing them to generous and enthusiastic community members, and from clients who are invigorated by new adventures and touched by knowing their neighbors care for them.

Projects are available every month for both individuals and groups, and can include direct-service or program support activities. You can expect:

  • The tools, training, and support you need for a sense of accomplishment
  • Knowledge about VOA's mission, how the program you are serving is changing lives, and how your involvement benefits our community
  • Tangible ways to continue to make a difference after your project is complete

"We have probably done a dozen or so volunteer events in the last couple of years but I don’t think I have ever received so much positive feedback from the participants. They all had a fabulous time and definitely feel it was for a very worthy cause."
