Justice-involved individuals often face barriers when reentering their community. From finding resources, housing, and employment, to dealing with the trauma of incarceration and healing relationships, it can be overwhelming. Our services and community partnerships provide supportive interventions for people coming home or being monitored in the community and changing their behaviors to avoid returning to jail or prison. In addition, we provide support to resolve legal conditions connected to DUII charges.
At VOA Oregon, we are also committed to reaching survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our community. Our work is grounded in the belief that all survivors deserve self-determined lives free from violence and abuse. By meeting survivors where they are in our community, we provide emergency services, legal advocacy, housing services, and more, which reduces the barriers to domestic and sexual violence support services.
