Treatment Philosophy

The Volunteers of America Oregon Day Treatment Program provides specialized treatment and recovery support services for adults with histories of addiction. Our holistic program approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual we serve. Our goal is to support program participants as they move into recovery. We treat our clients with respect and provide them with tools, genuine support and guidance to be able to make choices for a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

  • On-staff primary care naturopathic physician
  • Peer mentors
  • Breakfast and lunch service
  • Scheduled pro-social activities that include bowling, OMSI, hiking, Chinese Gardens and more
  • Recovery league softball team
  • Transportation assistance via TriMet
  • Alumni group
  • Resume services

Who We Serve

  • Adults(ages 18 or older
  • History of substance abuse and a need for outpatient treatment as identified by ASAM PPC2R Criteria
  • No history of predatory sex offenses and/or registered sex offenders
