Community and Electronic Monitoring Program

Community Monitoring Program

Community Monitoring (CM) is a partnership with Multnomah County Juvenile Justice to improve outcomes and opportunities for juvenile offenders. CM monitors youth for 30 days under decreasing levels of phone and in-person contact as youth take on more responsibility and prove themselves to be working to overcome the struggles and behaviors that got them into trouble. The results are that youth in this program do not re-offend at rates dramatically higher than youth who are incarcerated.
