Youth Prevention Services

Family Connection provides Youth Prevention Services at seven Housing Authority of Portland sites.  

Services aim to strengthen families by offering culturally-informed activities and support shaped by community input, including fun family and youth activities, homework clubs, parenting education, and substance use and risk education. Family Connection's Youth Prevention Services will serve at least 200 youths from August 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.

Sites include Stark Manor, Fir Acres, Dekum Court, Townhouse Terrace, Hillsdale Terrace, St. Johns Woods, and Plaza Townhomes.
