Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Volunteers of America Oregon! We could not touch the lives of so many without your help.

Last year, over 900 individuals volunteered over 40,000 hours with our programs, helping to serve more than 15,000 children, families, adults and seniors in the greater Portland Metro area.

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups. And we always welcome your ideas if you have a particular vision or skill you would like to offer.

How to Become a Volunteer:

View our current list of individual volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in a particular opportunity or just want to explore your options, you are invited to attend a Volunteer Orientation to learn more about our programs and begin the screening process. Please contact Volunteer Services to sign up for one of the following dates & receive the location:

Tuesday, May 15th from 3 - 5pm

Thursday, June 7th from 10am - noon

Friday, June 22nd from 3 - 5pm

Tuesday, July 10th from 10am - noon

Wednesday, July 25th from 3 - 5pm

Thursday, August 9th from 10am - noon

Tuesday, August 28th from 3 - 5pm
