April 8 - The Volunteers of America Oregon Annual Meeting. Learn about our successful year and plans for the future. We will feature the innovative and effective Youth Prevention Services Program. April 9 - The Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship Training Series presents: Demystifying Dual Diagnoses: Diagnosis, Psychopharmacology, and Treatment Guidelines, by Cathy Moonshine. 8:30 to 12pm at the New Song Community Church. See the Flyer for details.

April 23 -  Re-Entry Enhancement Coordination Program Graduation. 6 to 7 pm at the Multnomah Building, 501 SE Hawthorne. Congratulations to the men and women in recovery who are making a successful transition from prison to our community, work, and family.

April 25 - Women's Residential Center Graduation. Community of Christ Church, 4837 NE Couch St. 7 to 8:30 pm. Congratulations to the women who have successfully completed treatment and are transitioning from residential treatment.

April 30 - We are hosting our 3rd Annual Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship Awards Ceremony. New Song Community Church at 5pm. Click here to see the invitation. The keynote will be given by Dr. Alisha Moreland, addictions and mental health specialist. We are awarding $59,000.00 to over 38 Oregon high school students whose lives have been affected by addictions in their families. We hope you will join us.

May 7 -  Home Free Domestic Violence Program Annual Fundraising Event. 5:30 to 8pm at Northwest Natural's Hospitality Room--220 NW 2nd Ave. To learn more, contact us.

May 24 - Day Treatment Alumni Dance and Fundraiser. A speaker meeting begins at 5:30, and we dance at 8:00.  $5.00 admission to DJ Swerv, snacks and soft drinks, a raffle, and a prize for the Best Dressed. At The Miracles Club, 4200 NE MLK BLVD.
