Landscaping at the Family Relief Nursery & Women's Residential Center
Wednesday, June 15th
45 volunteers from Mentor Graphics and professionals from JHP landscaping teamed up with VOA staff and volunteers to overhaul the grounds of the entire city block shared by these two programs supporting women & families. Highlights included tilling the veggie garden, planting a privacy hedge screen, dismantling an outdoor cover, planting a sun garden, and renovating a shade garden. The skill, determination, and friendliness of this group was remarkable, and they left their mark for years to come! Additional thanks to Wentworth Subaru for providing parking for the day.
