The Thrift Store solicits, collects, processes, and sells donated household goods to supplement funding for the direct service social programs of the agency.The operation allows us to offer affordable clothing, household items and other used goods to the public, and jobs to members of our community.

Clothing (men’s, women’s, children’s), coats and jackets, shoes, blankets, sheets, pillows, curtains or drapes. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and cooking utensils, toy, tools, clocks craft supplies, electric heaters, sports equipment, musical instruments, bicycles (good condition), pictures and paintings, jewelry, stereos and TVs (no consoles), records, tapes, CDs and small appliances (working). We also need furniture in good condition –

We do not accept hazardous materials (household cleaning products etc.), recall items (infant car seats etc.), used remodeling and building products, large appliances and gas BBQs.

Call the Volunteers of America Household Donation Office at 503-774-0948 to schedule a pick-up date for your donated items. Bag or box your items and leave them outside by 8:00am on the day of your scheduled pick-up.

The Volunteers of America driver will leave a receipt when the items are picked up. Your donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
