Food Services Program/Catering Services
The Food Services Program provides meals for the Women's Residential Center, our two Adult Day Centers, the Family Relief Nursery, YWCA, and Daily Solutions, a county program for the underprivileged, as well as numerous catered events.
The program is operated from the commercial-grade kitchen located at the Women's Residential Center, a temporary home to about 50 women who have been involved with the criminal justice system and are now recovering from substance abuse. Women residents receive support from the research-based curriculum and comprehensive treatment, and thanks to the Food Services Program directed by Paul Hickman, they are also exposed to vocational opportunities.
Women are given a unique opportunity to learn food preparation skills and earn a Food Handlers Card while experiencing the value of taking on responsibility.
For more information on our food services, please contact Paul Hickman, Food Services Director at 503-235-8655.
