Multnomah Bar Association Raises $100,000 for CourtCare
Multnomah Bar Association’s annual spring CourtCare fundraising campaign was again a success!
Overwhelming support from Portland’s legal community, including over 500 individual donors and 50 law firms, has raised $94,000 so far, and the MBA is confident it will reach the $100,000 goal. These funds provide annual operating support for CourtCare, which served nearly 1,000 children last year. Since 2001, CourtCare has provided a safe, stimulating environment for thousands of children while their parents and guardians attend to business at the Multnomah County Courthouse.
CourtCare is a free, state-certified drop-in childcare program for children ages six weeks to five years whose parents or guardians have business at the Courthouse, and is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. To find out more or make a reservation, call 503-988-4334.
