Family Decision Meeting
Family Decision Meetings bring together the family, their support network, the DHS caseworker, and service providers to create a plan that will meet the child’s needs for safety, attachment, and permanency. This strengths-based program services Multnomah and Washington County Department of Human Services/Child Welfare. Whenever it is safely possible, the preference is to return the child to the family, often with services to support the family in caring for their child.
One IFS Facilitator is available in each of the branches throughout Multnomah County. Referrals can be made directly to the Facilitators located in each branch.
