Donation Guidelines
What do we accept?
-
clothing, dishes, small appliances, linens, tools, housewares, area rugs with bound edges, books puzzles and games.
What don’t we accept?
- furniture
- toys
- exercise equipment, microwaves or large appliances
- lawnmowers, barbeques, industrial equipment, chemicals or automotive parts
- bathroom or household fixtures including lighting
- curtains, drapes, unbound carpeting
- baby furniture, baby toys or car seats of any kind
Due to regulatory changes in disposal we no longer accept TV’s, computers, printers, scanners or fax machines other than new type LCD or Plasma TV’s.
We do not accept hazardous materials (household cleaning products, etc.), recall items (infant car seats, etc.), used remodeling and building products, large appliances or gas BBQs.
How to donate
1. Call the Volunteers of America Oregon Donation Hotline and 877-VOA-3977 to schedule a pick-up date for your donated items.
Bag or box your items and leave them outside by 8:00am on the day of your scheduled pick-up. The driver will leave a receipt when the items are picked up.

- Smaller items may also be dropped off at the Thrift it store on 2360 SE 182nd Street (open Mon-Sat 9am-8pm and Sun 11am-6pm.)
