Housing Authority of Portland Selects VOA Oregon to Provide Drug Prevention
Volunteers of America Oregon is pleased to announced that it has been selected by the Housing Authority of Portland (HAP) to partner with Multnomah County and provide addiction prevention services for youth and families at seven HAP properties.
This new project brings together the expertise of staff from three Volunteers of America Oregon programs -- Parenting, Integrated Family Services, and Adelante.
“We are excited about this new partnership and the opportunity to work with youth and their families in their communities," said Laurie Huffman, Division Director of Children & Family and Treament Services. "Our team on this project is drawn from VOA Parenting, Adelante and Integrated Family Services Family Therapy programs and includes Latino bilingual and bicultural staff. Our team brings years of expertise and a passion for making a difference.”
