Read the Community Assessment on Aging
A collaborative effort of leadership from United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, Volunteers of America Oregon, The Urban League, and Lifewords NW has released the 2009 Community Assessment on Aging. The report stresses the importance of communities being places where people can both "grow up and grow old", with the resources to support their changing needs and enable them to live independently for as long as possible. This report is a call to action to address on the largest issues our community and our generation are facing.
