Local Foundations Support Housing First's Innovative Approach

for their recent grants supporting Home Free's Housing First program, which provides ongoing transitional support for adults and families fleeing domestic violence and assists them in establishing their own safe, permanent housing. These grants will enable Home Free to continue to help domestic violence survivors in our community to build lives free from abuse.
The Housing First program is currently participating in a four-year study initiated by the Centers for Disease Control to look at the connection between domestic violence and housing. Find out more here. This approach was recently named a best practice by the National Alliance to End Homelessness.
