Mayor Sam Adams Declares Kay Toran Appreciation Day
Portland Mayor Sam Adams declared August 19, 2009 to be Kay Toran Appreciation Day at the morning meeting of the Portland city council. An official mayoral proclamation honored her innovative leadership and tireless work to better the lives of the most vulnerable, marginalized and underserved members of our community. Kay accepted the honor with former Oregon Governor Vic Atiyeh by her side. Congratulations, Kay!
