Join us for this free breakfast fundraiser and learn more about how VOA Oregon’s Adult Day Centers provide innovative caregiving solutions for aging in place, promote independence for our elders, and strengthen our community.
You'll also hear from keynote speaker, Dr. Margaret Neal.
Dr. Neal is the Director of the Portland State University Institute on Aging and is a leading advocate for seniors and caregivers in our community. Her current areas of research investigate the challenges and opportunities faced by individuals who are balancing employment with providing care to elderly family members or friends and what the public and private sectors can do to assist these caregivers. Dr. Neal is currently writing a book about couples in the “sandwiched generation” -- those who are working, caring for children, and caring for aging parents.
