Help Make the Family Relief Nursery Playground a Reality
Thanks to recent grants from local and national foundation, $28,000 have been raised to
support a new playground at Family Relief Nursery, which serves at-risk children ages six months to five years, and their families.
The playground will be used by over 100 children each year and will feature separate developmentally-appropriate areas for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
"Many of the children enrolled in our program have no safe outdoor areas where they can play," said Michelle Reynolds, Program Director of the Nursery. "The playground will provide them with a chance to run, play, get some fresh air and exercise, and just be children."
